Self-Care

Mental Health

Supporting the cognitive, behavioral and emotional well-being of an individual. It is all about how we think, feel and behave. Mental Health can affect our daily life, relationships and physical health. Mental wellness includes a person's ability to enjoy life. To attain balance between life activities and efforts to achieve psychological resilience.
"The only disability in life, is a bad attitude."
— Scott Hamilton retired American figure skater and Olympic gold medalist

Self-Care

Self-care is the keeping and caring of physical health, mental/emotional health and Spiritual health. Physical self-care involves activities that improve your physical health. Such as exercise and eating healthy. Mental/emotional self-care involves practices that maintain your mental and emotional health. For example, solid healthy happy friendships, the sun, treat yourself with kindness, quiet your mind and set realistic goals.
Your religious values, faith, beliefs, principles and morals define your spirituality. Spiritual
health brings balance into our lives. We can improve spiritual wellness through exploring,
looking for a deeper meaning, being sociable, yoga, meditation and thinking positive.
